Chrome "Jeep" Emblems
If your hood emblem is peeling and losing it's shine,
JGCParts can help. The OEM unit is made out of a soft
gummy silicon and then coated  with a plastic chrome
covering. Over time it fades, cracks and peels.

Our replacement emblems are made of a more rigid plastic
and are UV protected. They're made to last. Backed with
strong 3M tape, they are really easy to install!
Take the new emblem out of the wrapper. Use the grill on
the front of the Jeep to help find the center of your hood.

If you look really hard, you may still see a slight ghosting of
your old letters that may help align the new emblem easily.
Start by removing the old emblem remnants.

Use a hair dryer to heat up the letters one by one. You can
them flick at them with your finger nails or use an old credit
card to break them apart piece by piece.
Do not use
anything metallic!
Your will scratch the paint.

Once they are all off, clean the area with soapy water and
then dry completely.
Peel each letter off one by one and apply to the hood.
Gently apply each letter where you want it.

Don't press them on very hard until all letters have been
applied and aligned to your satisfaction.
Once all letters are on the hood and aligned, apply a
solid amount of pressure for about 15 seconds on each
individual letter using your fingers or palm. This will help
set the adhesive tape.

Prylon tool being used to remove an

These emblems can be used for the front
and the back of your Jeep Grand Cherokee.
